The Author

Melaney Taylor Auxier has been writing stories since she learned to spell and make actual sentences with words. That was a really long time ago. Between then and now she has had 6 kids, 2 grandbabies, a plethora of animals, and an odd assortment of jobs, all while continuing to create fiction for entertainment. 

From sod unroller to quality controller at the bunny factory, to teaching kindergarten and elementary PE, each job has sparked ideas for new tales.

Living on 40 acres of small town Idaho land for the past 20 years has provided ample plot lines and characters for over twenty children’s picture books, a couple middle grades, plus a novel for adult readers with more on the way.
