FINALLY!!!

After a solid month of battling with Amazon, my new rom-com, Lessons in Love and Lattes, is finally available! It was quite an ordeal navigating all the technical hoops I was made to hop through. Author friends Sarah Hill (spicy romance writer) and Brook Peterson (cozy mystery author) put up with my constant whining, crying, all-around negative vibe about everything in my life. I was obsessed and possessed with trying to figure out what the heck Amazon KDP wanted from me. I even enlisted the aid of a computer guru friend. I called him practically crying.

"What do they want?? I've never heard the word 'rasterize' ever in my life and definitely would never use it in a sentence except to ask what it means. No idea how to flatten, outline, or embed fonts or interiors or anything. What are they even talking about??"

Computer Guru concentrated on reading the email with the foreign language, my voice a slight annoyance to his focus. The hint of a frown creased his brow as I watch his eyes via screen share moving over the explanation of why they refuse to publish my paperback. "I understand it," were his short, precise words.

A family emergency put me and my book on hold in his life. I was done practicing my patience. Time for the big guns.
